I love this product! It makes packing for flights so easy! Never again will I be surprised by unexpected over weight fees or stuck frantically trying to redistribute weight between luggage bags at the airport. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

The scale saved a bit of consternation for my husband. Husband traveling back East for an extended work stay. He needed to take with him quite a bit for his one month stay. He used the scale to make sure he wasn't over the 50 lb limit. The scale read 48 lbs and when he went to the airport & checked in backage the airport scale also stated 48 lbs.

How to Use the Balanzza Digital Luggage Scale

The Balanzza Ergo Luggage Scale is an affordable, effective way to avoid paying the exorbitant overweight luggage fees now being applied by cash-strapped airlines. This product can literally save you hundreds of dollars in a single trip, so knowing how to use it is important. Here are some tips for using your new Balanzza Ergo Luggage Scale:

  • You must keep the scale horizontal with the screen facing up and you need to keep from applying pressure from your hands to the strap which attaches the scale to reduce the risk of an inaccurate reading.
  • Before you use the digital scale, let it warm up for 30 seconds after powering it on.
  • As you grip the scale, keep it horizontal and grip it with your hands while distributing the weight equally in your fingers.
  • The scale is a sensitive electronic device and should not be hit or thrown to avoid damaging its functionality.
  • As with any lifting, when using the Balanzza scale, be careful to use proper lifting techniques to avoid back strain.

The basic procedure for weighing a bag is as follows:

  1. Turn the scale on by pressing the power button. (To turn it off, hold the same button for three seconds.) After you turn the power on, wait a few seconds for the "0" to appear on the screen.
  2. Use the UNIT function to choose whether you want pounds or kilograms for your results. Again, wait until the "0" appears.
  3. Place your luggage on the weighing strap and carefully lift the object from the ground until the scale beeps. Gently set your bag down and check the readout for the weight.

It really is that simple! You'll be able to leave for the airport with confidence, knowing that there will be no surprise fees to send your trip over budget.
